Certification Programs

The Carpenters International Certification Council (CICC)—in a service of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) and in strategic partnership with the Carpenters International Training Fund—currently offers three certification programs, listed below. These certification programs are currently accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accreditation body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. The NCCA develops accreditation standards and issues accreditation to certification programs.

Rigger and Signaler

• Certified Rigger and Signaler (CRS)
• Certified Master Rigger and Signaler/Lift Director (CMRS/LD)

Crane Operator

• Overhead Crane Certified Operator (OCCO)
